First birthday for little Poppy Little

Poppy Margaret Little was born on 11/11/11 to parents Claire and Robyn.

Claire said: “The baby was due on Monday 14. I had a named picked for a boy, but I had nothing for a girl. I always said if it was a girl born on the 11th I would call her Poppy.”

“She’s a wee gem,” said her mum.

“She got a doll and pram for her first birthday and we went out to the Planters for a meal on Sunday afternoon.

“Her granddad Uprichard took her and her brother Ben (4) to the Remembrance Service on Sunday morning.”

Claire and Robyn, who live in the Mourneview estate, got married in style earlier this year when they were in Las Vegas.

“We’d always wanted to do something a bit different,” said Claire. “We could have got married by Elvis but then Robyn saw the option to get married on a helicopter flight over the strip so we went for that.”
