“The First Minister showed particular interest in our Early Intervention Lisburn Education programs which are currently being delivered by Resurgam in schools and family homes across the Greater Lisburn area.

“We were pleased to have the First Minister endorse the work being carried out by The Resurgam Trust throughout Communities across Lisburn.”

According to the Resurgam Trust, everyone who met the First Minister on the day was very touched by how she went out of her way to speak to as many people as possible, including those who were very busy in the kitchen preparing light snacks for the event.

“It was a great honour to represent Resurgam and to be able to tell the First Minister about my journey with the Resurgam Trust over the last 20 years and how they have helped me to gain and sustain employment,” said Neil Reilly manager, of Resurgam Trust’s Social Enterprise Bar, The Highway Inn.
