First place in GCSE history

Former Ballymena Academy pupil, Katie McGaughey, was presented with an award to recognise her achievement of first place in CCEA’s summer 2014 examinations.

Katie, who was placed first in GCE History, was also presented with the magnificent Tim McCall History Award for Top Achiever.

She was accompanied at the ceremony by her mum, her A Level teachers, Mrs. Shaw and Miss Shields, and by Curriculum Deputy Principal, Mrs. Connor.
