First show at the Roe is a sell-out!

SCOTLAND'S finest children's theatre company, Clydebuilt Theatre presented its fantastic Red Riding Hood's Magic Purse to a packed audience on Friday, October 29, when the new Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre / Ionad Ealaíon agus Cultúir Ghleann na Ró opened its doors!

Staff at the new centre were absolutely delighted with the turn-out for the first show and the audiences were thrilled with the magical production that combined shadow play and puppetry to tell the well known tale Little Red Riding Hood but with a Halloween twist.

Desima Connolly, Arts and Cultural Services officer for Limavady Borough Council praised the great turn-out and the production. She said: "To have our first show in the new venue sell-out is just the perfect way to launch this fantastic centre and was a great thumbs up from the people of the Borough. There are plenty of other brilliant shows in store and our first season's events guide will be released next week."
