Fish and chip shop group highly commended in awards

THE John Dory’s group which has a branch in Lisburn has been awarded highly commended certificates in the Best Multiple Fish and Chip Operator Award category in the National Fish and Chip Awards 2013, organised by Seafish, the authority on seafood.

The awards celebrate the very best fish and chip businesses Britain has to offer and 2013 marks 25 years of the competition.

Mark Polley, of John Dory’s said: “We’re delighted to be awarded this highly commended certificate.

“Both staff and management have worked extremely hard so it’s great to get some recognition.

“We’re also grateful to Seafish for organising the awards as they raise industry standards as well as providing incentives for the staff.

“Customers benefit too of course,” he added.
