Fishing gear is stolen in two incidents

Fishing tackle has been stolen from a car in Reilly Park.

Some time between 6pm on Friday May 16 and 10am on Saturday May 17, a red Toyota was entered and the gear stolen.

Then around 11.30am on Monday, May 19, two males stole two fising rods from business premises on Scarva Street. The two men then made off on foot towards Linenhall Street.

The first male is described as being of stocky build with a rough shaven complexion. He was wearing a grey baseball cap and pale grey sweatpants. The second male was weaing pale grey sweatpants, a dark grey hoody and a light grey baseball cap with a maroon stripe.

Police in Banbridge are appealing for information in relation to the thefts.
