Five Good Relations Grants

BALLYMONEY Borough Council has approved five Good Relations Grants worth £1,690.

During a recent Leisure and Amenities Committee report members agreed to give:

Castle Community Association £350 for assistance towards ‘Memories of the Past’.

Cheers Youth Club £50 for assistance towards a European Citizenship Programme.

Lisnagaver Flute Band £350 for assistance towards a Vintage Rally and Family Fun Day.

Lavin Flute Band £350 for assistance towards an Ulster Scots Cultural Event.

Rasharkin Community Association £290 for assistance towards a Learning and Sharing our Common Heritage Event.

The report added: ‘The application have been assessed and they meet the criteria of the Small Grants Scheme.’
