Five more City of Culture 2013 jobs

FIVE more jobs have been advertised at the company set up to spearhead Londonderry’s place in the cultural spotlight as British City of Culture in 2013.

Culture Company 2013 Ltd., which is planning the delivery of UK City of Culture 2013, says it requires a number of skilled and experienced people to join its team.

The firm is recruiting an E-Media Manager to develop Culture 2013’s online profile, expand digitally and engage younger audiences and the Londonderry diaspora.

A new Communications Executive will assist with the co-ordination of Culture 2013’s media strategy.

A new Partnership Manager will maximise opportunities to develop and manage programmes with a wide range of potential partners and funders, including developing and managing relationships with partners already in place.

A post of Financial Controller will involve providing sound financial systems and administration. The new controller will lead the company’s financial and management accounting and support costing and budgeting.

A Receptionist is also required for Culture 2013’s ‘front of house.’ The new recruit will be the first point of contact for telephone calls and visitors and will play a vital role in representing City of Culture professionally and efficiently.
