He also holds two Gold medals from the Chelsea Flower Show and has had a book published, which is simply entitled “Flowers”.

The theme of the Flower Festival is “Heralding our Heritage” and the highlight will be a floral portrayal of West Church’s connection to the local community, demonstrating the high esteem in which the church has been held throughout the ages.

The Art Exhibition, also being held at this time, gives an opportunity for local artists to showcase their work.

The 150th anniversary show & exhibition was launched in the presence of councillors and other distinguished local guests on Saturday.
