Danielle Black, whose address was given as Albert Street, Lurgan, appeared at last Thursday’s sitting of Banbridge Magistrates Court.

The charge against her alleges that on July 11 last year she stole a band parade banner valued at £60 belonging to Moneyslane Flute Band and did aid and abet in the theft.

Black declined the opportunity to take the matter before a jury and chose to have it dealt with at the magistrates’ court.

When the charge was put to her she pleaded not guilty.

The case was adjourned until April 21 to fix a date for a contest.
