FmK Architecture host annual free Plan2Build Exhibition

AFTER the huge success of the Plan2Build Show last April, FmK are again running the event to showcase local companies and their products along with FmK’s advice on Planning, Architectural Design and ECOHomes.

Whether you need planning permission, or you are looking to build your own home, or simply improve your current one; make a note in your calendar for the Plan2Build exhibition in Ballymena. Come along, speak to experts about your project or simply get some ideas and inspiration.

The Plan2Build show will give visitors the opportunity to meet over 50 self build specialists and professionals, as well as several major mortgage providers, all under one roof. The event is open to everyone and completely free to attend.

FmK are this year introducing their “Design Hub” where visitors can sit down for a free consultation with the FmK experts to discuss their project. Whether it is a bespoke new build or an extension to your dwelling, you can stop and receive some free professional advice.

The all new “Design Hub” also provides you the opportunity to bring along your own house plans that have Planning Permission and FmK can give them an “ECO-UPGRADE” where FmK can advise on energy saving techniques and alter your current plans to provide a more low-energy design, with a more cost saving approach.

FmK also offer a full “Design & Build” service under their specialist ECOHomes team, giving you a price for the specification and construction of the entire build, to a high spec, low-energy standard.

The event will also feature FmK’s very own “home of the year” competition, where visitors can vote on their favourite FmK designed home and also the chance to win a prize!

The Plan2Build 2013 show is packed full of specialist advice from suppliers & manufacturers while also promoting renewable energy and its uses in your home. This event will give selfbuilders and DIY enthusiasts the chance to come along and speak to an array of specialists.

FmK will also be showcasing their range of ECOhomes at the show. These low-cost, low-energy homes starting at around 53k, making them an affordable self build solution. They will also be showing the first completed ECOHome that was commissioned at the Plan2Build Show last year, with photos of the finished dwelling on show.

The Plan2Build exhibition will be held on Friday, April 12 to Sunday, April 14 from 10am to 6pm in the Leighinmohr House Hotel in Ballymena.

The event is open to everyone with free admission and free parking.
