Strange combination? It all makes sense when we find out that the Causeway Walk on 26th September, along with NICHS’s other Challenge Walks, will take place in various filming locations of the popular TV series including Ballintoy Harbour and Carrick-a-rede’s Larrybane Quarry.

Sarah said: “I have to say I have never been to the Dark Hedges and as a local I can’t believe that!

“It’s a remarkable landmark and I can’t get over the amount of tourists that visit not only the Dark Hedges but all the other Game of Throne locations in NI because of it.”

Each walker will receive a t-shirt before the day and be awarded with a medal after their 13 or 26 mile walk. Participants being bused to Carrick-a-rede from Portballintrae and then guided along the marshaled route back to the seaside village where an abundance of entertainment and food outlets will meet them.
