Fond farewell for Heather

A valued member of a local care home has left her post.Heather Johnston was honoured by friends and colleagues at a function in the Model Care Home Southern Cross in Ballymoney on Tuesday of last week.

Speaking about Heather, Anne Bailey, the Area Manager from Southern Cross said:

"Heather came to The Model Care Home Southern Cross in June 09 and during her time she has made very significant improvements to the standards of care and management in the Model. The recent RQIA Inspection reports evidences this.

"We are sorry to loose Heather from The Model however she is staying with the company as Home Manager at Ashbrooke care centre in Enniskillen where she is relocating to Fermanagh.

"I am confident that Heather will take with her the commitment to the standards of acre that she has demonstrated at The Model and look forward to working with her in this new home.

"All the Staff at The Model would like to wish Heather all the success in the future!"
