Foodbank help needed

Can you help Ballymena people in crisis this Christmas?

If so, Barclays Bank on Church Street, in association with Ballymena Foodbank, are holding a collection point this week.

Up until Friday, December 20, non-perishable and long-lasting dated foods will be collected such as sugar, pasta sauces, tinned tomatoes, cereals, tea bags, rice/pasta, tinned meat/fish etc.

This food will be distributed to families and individuals across the borough via the provision of emergency food supplies.

Local professional care workers refer people with a food voucher to the foodbank centre where they are given food supplies, a cup of coffee and assistance in finding professionals who can help them out of their crisis.
