Foodbank helps feed 3,500 people in Lisburn since 2013

Lisburn Foodbank at Trussell Trust, Graham Gardens, which has helped feed over 3500 people in the area would like to thank schools and churches who gave harvest donations of non perishable foods so generously to help them to feed the people who found themselves in need in Lisburn, during the month of October.

The Foodbank opened in June 2013 and is now open four mornings a week from 11am–1pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Food is available by a voucher system and they have over 40 registered voucher holders.

Since opening in 2013 Lisburn Foodbank have feed over 3500 people in the Lisburn Area.

Trussell Trust Foodbanks give three days’ emergency food to people in crisis. Over 90% of the food given out by is donated by the public.
