Football freedom task force set up
Mid & East Antrim Council is to establish a working group which will move forward with the planning of a major freedom ceremony in honour of the Northern Ireland football team.
Among the participants will be council chief exectuive, Anne Donaghy who will be joined on the ‘task force’ by the Director of Communications and the Director of Community Planning.
The Mayor, Cllr. Audrey Wales and her deputy, William McNeilly will also be on the group alongside the proposer, Ald. Stewart McDonald and seconder, Ald. Gregg McKeen
