For trail on wounding charge
A man has been returned for trial to Londonderry's crown court on August 25 on a charge of unlawful wounding.
At Londonderry Magistrates’ Court the charge of unlawful wounding on April 4, 2015 was read to the defendant, Patrick Pearse Deery (41), of Winchester Park, in the Waterside.
When asked if he would like to say anything in answer to the charges Deery replied ‘No’. Asked if he would like to call any witnesses, he replied: ‘No’.
Released on his own bail of £500 he was ordered not to have contact with witnesses or the alleged injured party.
