In 2013 there will be 56 sports held at 41 venues across Northern Ireland including Cookstown, with over 7,000 competitors from over 60 countries taking part.

The Half-Marathon was one of the events taking place outside Belfast. Crowds lined Cookstown’s streets on Sunday (August 4) as the athletes set off on their 13 mile journey, which took them from the Mid-Ulster Sports Arena into the town centre and out towards Lissan. They then made their way back through Cookstown, ending at MUSA.
