Former Lurgan man Gary Lyness wows the judges on Britain’s Got Talent

Gary Lyness and his wheelchair-bound dance partner Paula Moulton had the BGT audience on their feet on Saturday night.

The good news for the former Lurgan man was that the judges were also impressed and put them on the shortlist for the live semi-finals.

39-year-old Gary grew up in Lurgan and lived on the Avenue Road with his mum Edith and dad Ernie.

He left Lurgan in 1992 and moved to England. He’s been living in Manchester for 12 years.
