Former owner of Rollerdrome
He was the dear father of Angela, Richard and David.
Harry, as he was affectionately known to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him, was a native of the Lisnaree area of the town.
A very successful businessman he carried on in the amusement field of life when he ran the Rollerdrome which used to be the Castle Ballroom and then the Vallyend Snooker Club.

Hide AdHe was also a very keen pigeon enthusiast which met at the Banbridge British Legion. But mainly he enjoyed the company of his family and was very close to his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, sons, grandchildren and sister Helen.
To these and all other relatives sincere sympathy has been extended.
The funeral took place from William Bell and Co. Funeral Home on Friday.

Hide AdIn the Funeral Home the hymns ‘The Lord’s my Shepherd’ and ‘What a friend we have in Jesus’ were sung.
Miss Margaret Stevenson presided at the organ. The Rev. Nigel Kane minister of Magherally Presbyterian Church conducted the funeral services.
The family would like to thank him and all those who attended the funeral.
The interment took place in the family plot of Magherally Parish Churchyard.

Hide AdFamily flowers were placed on the grave and donations in lieu of flowers are being sent to William Bell and Co. Funeral Directors, 23 Kenlis Street, Banbridge, BT32 3LR for Diabetic Care.
William Bell and Co. had charge of the funeral arrangements.
