Fort Hill to host open night

THIS year, Fort Hill Integrated Primary School and Nursery Unit are hosting a very special event for P1 and Nursery Enrolment for September 2013.

On Monday December 17 at 7.00 pm, the school will be open to the school families and the local community for the annual Open night and a Christmas celebration of different cultures and languages.

Potential new pupils to Fort Hill Integrated Primary and Nursery and their families are invited to come along to visit the Nursery Unit and P1 class, whilst enjoying the Multicultural Christmas festivities and celebrations, including carol singing by the school choir, mince pies, crafts, dancing and workshops in a host of cultures represented in Fort Hill Integrated Primary School and the local community.

Potential new P1 and Nursery pupils and their families can view the classes, talk to the teachers and tour the school as they find out about the varied and exciting learning opportunities and the aims and values of Fort Hill Integrated Primary School, They can also enjoy a variety of music, dance, puppet shows, storytelling, crafts and food tasting from a variety of cultures provided by Interlingua School of Languages, Lisburn.

Parents can also learn more about extra curricular activities and clubs Fort Hill offers pupils, including Breakfast Club and the new Integrated Learning Club that explores languages and cultures for pupils from P1 up- guests can even visit the hens and rabbits that have just arrived in Nursery this year .
