Fountain to work on emergency plan
DERRY City Council wants the people of the Fountain and the wider Triax area to consider local emergency plans in face of snow, flooding or security alerts.
Mayor Martin Reilly welcoming a new Triax Community Resilience Plan, and said it was a useful toolkit aimed at providing vital information to benefit local communities. Martin Daly, emergency planning officer with Derry City Council said it “would encourage other community groups to engage with Council to develop similar plans for their own areas to reduce the impact of disruption to their community.”
