Four burglaries in Ballyclare ‘connected’ say police

Detectives are treating four burglaries which occurred in The Square, Ballyclare on the evening of Saturday, July 18 and into the early hours of Sunday, July 19 as connected.

Detective Inspector Chris Millar said: “Four businesses were targeted during this crime series, including two charity shops.

“All of the business are situated in The Square.

“In most instances, the back door of the premises was forced and small sums of cash taken from inside.

“Detectives are following a number of leads but are keen to speak with anyone who noticed any suspicious activity around the Square across Saturday night into Sunday morning.
