Four fire crews to tackle Coalisland bungalow blaze

Firefighters from four fire stations tackled a blaze at a residential property near Coalisland on Tuesday.

It took a total of four appliances and an hydraulic platform to bring the fire at the detached bungalow on the Ballynakilly Road under control.

The alarm was raised at 2.05pm, according to the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service.

A spokesperson said: “Two fire appliances from Dungannon fire station, one fire appliance from Cookstown fire station and one fire appliance from Pomeroy fire station were deployed to a fire at a detached bungalow in the area.

“One hydraulic platform from Portadown fire station was also used during the incident.

“The incident was declared over at 4:22pm and early indications would suggest the fire started accidentally.”
