Four people and dog escape Cookstown blaze
Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) received a call at 11:34pm to a fire at residential premises at Millburn Park, Cookstown on Tuesday 30th December.
Three fire appliances in total, two from Cookstown Fire Station and one from Dungannon were deployed to the incident following smoke alarm activated.

Hide AdA spokesperson for NIFRS said: “4 Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the house and a dog was rescued from the premises, as Firefighters performed oxygen therapy on the dog. 2 males and 2 females, who were outside of the property upon arrival of Fire Crews were treated at the scene for minor smoke inhalation.”
It is understood that the fire was started accidentally.
