Fourth man arrested in relation to Coalisland garage murder

Detectives investigating the murder of 32-year-old Gediminas Stauskas in Coalisland last month have arrested another man in Dungannon.

The officer leading the investigation, Detective Chief Inspector Lee McNevison said: “The 28-year-old suspect was arrested this morning [Wednesday] on suspicion withholding information.

“He has been taken to Dungannon police station for questioning.”

This news come as two men, aged 27 and 41, are due to appear before Dungannon Magistrates Court today [Wednesday] on similar charges.

34-year-old Darius Sikorskas was charged with the murder of Gediminas Stauskas at Enniskillen Magistrates Court on October 15.

The body of the 32-year-old Lithuanian man was found in a garage on the Moor Road, near Clonoe, Dungannon and reports at the time suggested he had been tortured before his death.

Sikorskas was also charged attempted murder, kidnapping and possessing a handgun connected to two shootings in September in Newry.

He is also accused of supplying cocaine and amphetamines.

No bail application was lodged with the court so Deputy District Judge Marshall remanded Sikorskas into custody to appear by video link at Dungannon Magistrates Court on 18 November.
