Foyle Golf ClubOpen Stableford

THE first of the season's Wednesday Open Stableford Competitions at Foyle was very well supported with the Competitors enjoying fine conditions with the Ballyarnett course in excellent condition and John Jennings (11) made full use of the favourable conditions to produce an excellent winning score of 43pts with Paul Mc Laughlin (11) and Kieran Duffy (11) finishing in second and third places with 39pts.

In the third of the Foyle Friday Open Competitions 2 handicapper Damien McKenna produced a sensational 7 under par round of golf for his winning total of 45pts Damien had birdies at the 2nd 5th and 8th holes for an outward total of 22pts coming home he again birdied the 11th, 16th and 17th holes for 23pts and a truly magnificent round of golf.

Second was Emmett McNally (14 ) on 44pts, while David Wilson (12) took third spot with 43pts.

On Saturday, May 22, the Confined Stableford was won by Christopher McCann (22) on 46pts, with Jackie Thomas (11) securing second place with 43pts.
