Foylequestionfudged

THE First Minister Peter Robinson and Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness have steered clear of the prickly jurisdictional question of who owns Lough Foyle saying it is a matter for London and Dublin.

Traditional Unionist Voice (TUV) MLA Jim Allister asked the power-sharing partners what is the current jurisdictional position of Carlingford Lough and Lough Foyle.

The Ministers jointly replied: “Any articulation of the jurisdictional position of both Loughs is a matter for the UK and Irish Governments.”
