St John’s Primary School has 14 sets of twins and a set of triplets, holding the title of the twin capital of Northern Ireland.

BubbleBum, the world’s first inflatable car booster seat for kids aged 4-11 years decided to gift each of the twins and triplets with a BubbleBum car booster seat as part of Road Safety Week, 2014, after hearing about the school’s record number of twins and triplets.

BubbleBum founder and CEO, Grainne Kelly, said: “We heard about St. John’s Primary on the local radio and couldn’t believe that this fascinating good news story was right on our doorstep. We decided to gift the twins and triplets with their very own car booster seat, so they can travel safely and their parents can fit 3 car seats in a row, which can be a challenge when you have more than one child.

“Road safety week is a very important week for BubbleBum as it embodies our company ethos, every child deserves to be protected on every journey.”

St John’s Primary School Principal, Geraldine O’Connor, commented: “We are delighted to associate St John’s P.S. with the promotion of road safety awareness week and strongly encourage all road users to be mindful of the safety of children at all times whether they are walking or travelling by car/bus.

“I am overwhelmed by the generosity of BubbleBum and thank Grainne most sincerely for gifting our children the booster seats.”
