Fresh appeal after some success on Dromore farm machinery theft

Police have recovered farm machinery recently stolen in Dromore, though other equipment has yet to be found.

Sometime between 4pm on Thursday, September 4 and 8pm on Friday, September 5, a blue fuel-bowser on a galvanised chassis and a green/yellow John Deere Gator were taken from a farmyard on Lower Quilly Road, Dromore.

Constable Colin Madine said this week: “We located the John Deere Gator within the grounds of Halls Mill Inn in Lawrencetown following the report.

“However the fuel-bowser is still outstanding.

“This piece of machinery was orginially yellow but has been resprayed a mid-blue colour.

“I would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to the theft or whereabouts of this piece of machinery.

“We can be contacted in Banbridge on the 101 non-emergency number.”
