Frew seeks mobility scooter safety work
Local DUP MLA Paul Frew has pushed for further safety measures for mobility scooter users in the Chichester Park area of Ballymena.
He said: “Due to a lack of dropped kerbs in the area they are being forced to drive on the roads, putting both drivers and mobility scooter users at a serious risk of accident or injury. There needs to be appropriate means of travel for all types of pedestrians so I would really like to see something done here as soon as possible,”
