Claire Hogarth of the Friends of the Cancer Centre said she has been very impressed by Robert Stewart’s efforts (see main story) stressing that the donation would be of great assistance to an organisation that depended solely on public support.

Claire has become a close friend of the Stewart family and has been a great help in their fund-raising endeavours.

Meanwhile, the Stewart family are indebted to all those who helped them with the Easter draw including those who donated prizes and purchased tickets.

“We owe the community a lot and we want them to know we are extremely grateful,” Robert said.
