Friends of Waterside Hospital donation
Committee members of Friends of the Waterside Hospital met with Mrs Judy Houlahan and representatives from Wards 4 and 5 to hand over six wheelchairs and four chair alarms purchased for patients from monies raised at various fund raising activities recently.
Other items recently purchased include: pressure cushions, surgical appliances for patients’ hands, Sarasteady stand, three footstools, two thermometers and other equipment.
The Friends have also paid for a monthly flower workshop – Reminiscing Through Flowers, carried out by Patricia McCormack.
