Emma Magill was diagnosed with secondary bone cancer in September and after further tests cancer was discovered in her breastal wall and lung.

The 34-year-old mother of two fought breast cancer five years ago and had recently received the news that she was all-clear for five years.

After falling down the stairs, x-rays showed that she had cancer in her hip. Due to head away on a family holiday to Turkey, she cancelled the trip so treatment could begin.

Emma underwent an operation on her hip, but medical experts could not remove the cancer.

They were able to help her manage her pain, with metal rods and screws being inserted in her leg. Prior to the cancer diagnosis, Emma received the news that she has MS, resulting in her having to walk with the aid of crutches when the pain got too much.

Emma’s friend, Ashley Desano, has organised a sponsored walk to raise funds to help her fight against cancer. There is currently no cure for bone cancer, so her family have been looking into alternative treatments to help her with her battle.

The walk will take place on November 26. It will commence from Fitmoms, Glengormley.

Ashley is encouraging as many people as possible to give up their time to help Emma.

A fundraising page has also been set up on line to raise donations for her. If you would like to make a donation, go to www.gofundme.com/emmamagillsfight
