Frightening fun for Magherafelt

BEWARE the ghosts and ghouls in Magherafelt this weekend as the local council prepare for a frighteningly fun programme of events.

The freaky fun begins at 10am in Magherafelt Library this Saturday October 30 with children’s storytelling until 11.15am. This session with Billy Teare ‘The Story tellin’ man’ is aimed at children from four to ten-years-old.

Scary shenanigans continue at 2pm, as Meadowbank Sports Arena will be buzzing with ghoulish happenings at the children’s Halloween Hooley until 5pm. Open to all ages, children can join in the fun, meet mischievous characters, be amazed at the children’s theatre and marvellous magic shows, or burn off some energy on the extra large inflatables.
