From darkness into light!

WORK has continued throughout the winter months on the project to replace the old hall at Lisnagaver.

All plastering both externally and internally has been completed and electrical wiring is now finished.

The biggest drain on the Lodge’s finances during the past few months has been the installation of the electricity to the new hall.

Brethren now look forward to the completion of the interior with the floors, kitchen, toilet and doors the main items left to complete.

Externally, some ground work remains to be done but this will be completed during the summer months when hopefully weather will be more favourable.

Our picture shows a worker from Power NI installing the electricity connection which has brought a supply to the hall for the first time ever.

Previously, the hall had been lit and heated using bottled gas.

No definite date has been set for the grand opening as this depends on how the work progresses but if all works well we may have an autumn opening.
