Frosses has second highest number of speeders in NI

The Frosses Road between Ballymoney and Ballymena saw the second highest number of speeding detections in Northern Ireland last year - a massive 1,574 incidents of speeding!

The shocking statistics were released by the Northern Ireland Road Safety Partnership and show that only the A1 Sprucefield roundabout at the Sheepbridge Road clocked up a higher rate of speeding detections - 1,949.

In 2015, the fastest speeds detected in the province were 90mph.

Four drivers were clocked doing 90mph - one of whom was driving along the Frossess Road at the time.
