Frosses Road diesel thefts
Police are investigating a series of suspected diesel thefts from machines involved in works along the Frosses Road.
The first theft was reported to police at the end of January with a further five incidents reported to date.
Ballymena Inspector John Allen said Neighbourhood police are stepping up patrols in the area in a bid to identify those involved.
“The diesel stolen is said to amount to over £1,500 and police are committed to keeping local people safe by deterring and arresting criminals operating in their area,” he said.
