Fuel stolen

FIFTY gallons of of fuel was stolen from a digger at Altarichard Forest near Magherahoney between 9pm on Friday May 6 and 7am on Saturday May 7.

A police spokesman appealed for anyone with machinery in rural areas to be aware that criminals are targeting vehicles to remove diesel and for the owners to take basic crime prevention steps and also not to keep large amounts of fuel in vehicles.

Bendooragh burglary

POLICE are investigating a burglary at Willowdale, Bendooragh, between 10.30am and 4.20pm on May 10.

The PSNI is appealing for all householders leaving their property, even for a short time, to lock doors and shut windows and don’t leave keys in doors.

A spokesman said: “Older generations would have left their key in the front door but you can’t do it now because it is just an invitation for somebody to come in.”

Trailers stolen

TWO trailers have been stolen from Chambers Coach Hire at Ballyweaney Road, Corkey.

One is an Ifor Williams trailer and the other is a Bryan James transport trailer.

Carnany burglary

TWO tvs were stolen in a burglary in Carnany Drive, Ballymoney, on May 14. Anyone with information can contact police.
