Fuel stolen from pumping station
NI Water is appealing for the assistance of the community after the discovery of damage and theft at Glynn Sewage Pumping Station in Larne.
John Bell from NI Water said damage had been caused to the site fence and 120 litres of was stolen fuel from a generator.
He added: “All our facilities provide an essential service for the community, so any damage impacts on service delivery by NI Water.
“Cost is also a factor, and this creates a drain on resources that could be better used to improve services.”
