Fun Day and auction for charity

Ballymoney Methodist Church is hosting a Fun Day and Charity Auction on Saturday 16 June in the Church Hall.

The aim of the event is to raise much-needed funds for local charities, CAN (Compass Advocacy Network), working with people with learning disabilities in the local area, Cheers Youth Centre and Wave Trauma which offers care and support to people bereaved, injured or traumatised as a result of ‘The Troubles’ in Northern Ireland.

Linda McKendry, Manager of CAN said “We were delighted to be approached by the Methodist Church to support us and other worthwhile charities in the town. All proceeds from the auction will be divided equally amongst the groups and support local people.”
