The Arkham centre will play host to attractions including an outdoor airsoft shooting range provided by local specialists Foxtrot58. There will also be military vehicles and an opportunity to see a vessel used by the Carrickfergus Sea Cadet unit.

At Arkham there will be hobby and gaming demonstrations, as well as a display of authentic Second World War memorabilia courtesy of Greys Fort, Crawfordsburn.

Children and big kids alike are encouraged to go along dressed as their favourite superhero. Spot prizes will be given out throughout the day for the most original outfits.

A free shuttle bus (courtesy of Translink) will be available between 11am-4.30pm between Arkham Gaming Centre and the community hall.

The events of the day will culminate when theatre comes to Gleno with a re-enactment of The 39 Steps by acclaimed group, Wireless Mystery Theatre, who had rave reviews at the Belfast Fringe Festival. Tickets for the show are £5 each, on sale now at Larne Tourist Information Centre, online at www.eventelephant.com/39steps or on the night at the door.

The organisers have said that all proceeds raised on the day will go to Help for Heroes, the charity formed to help UK services personnel wounded in the service of their country since the 9/11 attack.
