Fun for all the family at Shane's Castle game fair

Organisers say this year's Irish Game Fair and Fine Food Festival at Shanes Castle Estate will focus on fun for all the family while catering for countrysports fans.

Fair Director Albert Titterington said of the June 25 and26 event: “With day-long entertainment in three arenas I can guarantee something for all ages to enjoy, along with special competitions, hundreds of trade stands and much more . . .

“A stroll through the magical Living History Village is simply unmissable. Where else could you mix and mingle with 18th century re-enactors in the shadow of a real ruined castle?

Mr Titterington said too that each of the more than 200 trade stand exhibitors in the tented village would have at least one special ‘Game Fair bargain’ at a specially reduced price, while the international countrysports competitions were set to attract top competitors, though everyone could compete at their own level for top prizes. www.irishgamefair.com
