Ballymena Runners are working in partnership with two local charities who are raising funds for supplies and all donations will be split between, Ballymena Lions Club, and St Vincent de Paul

Club member Lisa Kirkwood said:“A number of club members expressed a desire to do something to help those refugees fleeing their war torn homes.

As a club we feel that one way we could help would be to do what we do best and arrange a run.

The aim is to gather as many of our wonderful members, friends and family to take part, so that we can highlight the issue, collect donations and raise funds for the local charities.”
