Turning Point NI collected the Vodafone Community Connection Award last week after staff in its Ballymena store chose the local charity to receive the funds. The charity was set up in May 2015 to help raise awareness of suicide and the issues that can trigger it, such as mental health problems and drug and alcohol misuse.
The charity offers support, comfort and guidance to those affected through their one-to-one counselling service which is available both in person and on the phone. Pictured here are Steven Hamilton (staff member), Trudi Hall (charity co-ordinator) who entered Turning Point NI for the award, and, Angela Ross (Ballymena Vodafone store manager).
