Chairman Michael Wilson said: “While 2014 saw us take part in 18 parades, 15 church based services and events, as well as over 30 exhibitions and talks in schools, to youth organisations and community groups, 2015 is shaping up to be even more successful with 20 calender insertions already confirmed and the fantastic funding from H&L fund will allow us to produce a lot more educational aids which can be utilised by both schools and youth organisations.”

The next meeting of Tyrone Somme will be in Dungannon RBL on Tuesday 27th January at 8pm with everyone very welcome and of course the Association are more than happy to assist or organise WWI themed events for any community or sstatutory bodies who approach them. The Association has also organised a talk on WWI arms and munitions by David Cunningham in February and a trips to the War Years Exhibition in Ballymoney during March, further details for which will be announced shortly.
