Funding for Drumgor project

Brenda Kennedy from Lloyd's TSB Foundations presented a cheque for 5,000 on behalf of the bank to project coordinator Barbara Trotter.

It will help to fund the group's finance and administration support worker, Louise Haughian's salary.

Barbara said the funds provided much needed help, she added: "We couldn't do without Louise and the work she does.

"We do a lot of good work in the area and that would not be possible without funding grants we receive from the likes of Lloyds and The Big Lottery Fund."

Brenda added: "The Lloyds TSB Foundation is delighted to support the work of the Drumgor Detached Youth Group.

"We wish the organisation continuing success with their excellent work with young people in the community."

The foundation awards around 2million every year to support communities in Northern Ireland to enable people to play a fuller role in their community.
