Fundraising craft fair in Hillsborough

IN July 2013 a team of local young people are heading out to Kenya with the Friends of Africa Missionary Endeavour to the F.A.M.E. Orphanage.

The team are going to be carrying out practical work, working and interacting with the children, as well as outreach work in local schools and villages.

The Kenya Team has been fundraising and have organised a Village Craft and Christmas Fair, which will be held on November 17 from 11am to 4pm in the Hillsborough Village Centre.

There will be many crafters represented, as well as Home Industries and Christmas crafts for children to make, together with activities, games etc.

Have a relaxing beverage with homemade scones/traybakes and get into the Christmas spirit.

A spokesperson for the team said: “If you’re free on Saturday please support the Kenya Team in this venture. Admission is free and the Team look forward to seeing you there.”
