Fundraising drive builds momentum

Two local brothers, Paul and Mark Robinson, who are preparing to climb to Everest Base Camp later this year, are busy raising money for their chosen charity - Friends of the Cancer Centre,

Lisburn man Paul, who is married to Claire with three daughters Kara, Ella and Nina, together with his older brother Mark, who lives in Dromore with his wife Louise, son Reece and daughter Madison, will take on the challenge in October to raise money for Friends of the Cancer Centre.

This weekend the brothers will be holding a collection in Ards Shopping Centre, as well as a spinathon.

They are hoping local people will donate generously to this worthy cause.

The Robinson brothers are also planning to hold a ‘Night at the Races’ event at the Bluebell in Lisburn on April 26.

Recently Ballymacash Rangers held a poker night at the Bluebell to help raise money. The hugely popular event raised a fantastic £300 for the charity.
