Funeral held for former Stewartstown man killed in motorway crash

A funeral service has been held for a former Stewartstown man killed a road accident on the M1 motorway near Drogheda last Thursday.

Richard Patterson who was 45 and had lived in Castlerock with his family, died after the lorry he was driving was involved in a collision with a vehicle on the hard shoulder.

A Service of Thanksgiving for his life was held on Monday in the Still Waters Elim Church in Coleraine.

Richard was the dearly loved partner of Bonny, much loved daddy of Ryanne and David, stepdad to Aaron and Mark, devoted son of Lorna and David, dearest brother of Stephen and Ian, and a dear brother-in-law and uncle.
